Haley is a 4th year graduate student in the Vision Science PhD program. She is interested in how visual information is accumulated across time to produce current perception. Using human psychophysics, she studies phenomena such as slow change blindness where the brain's integration strategies sometimes produce a representation that differs from reality. Understanding these biases in perception can help us better understand what the brain is doing to achieve a stable representation of the world. In her free time, Haley likes to play volleyball and sew her own clothes!
