Katrina Wolters

Graduate Student

Psychology - Cognitive Neuroscience

Katrina is a 1st-year graduate student in the Psychology PhD program (Cognitive Neuroscience area). She is interested in how biases such as serial dependence shape one’s perceptual representations and diagnostic judgments in medical imaging. Using psychophysics and computational modeling, she investigates how image characteristics and prior visual information influence the perceptual judgments underlying clinical decision-making, with the goal of using these insights to improve the accuracy and reliability of medical diagnosis. In her free time, Katrina likes traveling and building combat robots!
